2025 - Align Yourself for Some Firsts
Since the beginning of the year, I've been seeing the numbers 1, 11, 1:11 11:11. When I realized God was saying something, I began to ask Him what He was trying to show me. What does 1, 11 and 111 mean? I prayed and began to research.
God is represented in One - it’s an awareness of God’s Presence - 111 is God in His fullness- Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It represents our unity with the Father and unity with one another! Eleven has a couple meanings including disorder, transition, and the need for repentance. It can also represent faith, spiritual awakening, and divine intervention. Wow! Thats a lot of words! When put all together I got this... it’s a time of transitioning from chaos and disorder, through repentance that brings a spiritual awakening, to a place of order and alignment. Wow! If that’s not a picture of what God's people, the Church and the nations of the earth need! 11 is also a place of alignment.
I believe God is calling us to align with Him this year as never before. As Jesus prayed in John 17:11, "Father, keep them in your name, make them one even as we are one!" God is looking for us to be one with Him. To be one means we live, move and have our being in Him. We move together as one, in unity according to the Spirit. Jesus, praying for us to be one with Him is verse 11! God is so good at confirming His Word.
When we are one with the Father we are one in step with Jesus and Holy Spirit. Psalm 37:23 says, "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way.”
The steps of the good or righteous man are ordered by the Lord! When we walk as one, we don’t have to question whether we are in His will or not. We will easily move from one assignment to the next in obedience, as we seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness.
Next, I also believe we will see and do a lot of firsts this year. Things you have never done before or don’t normally do a specific way. But as you align with the Lord, you’re going to find yourself saying, I don’t normally do this, but God moved, or God opened a door and here I am doing something I said I’d never do or could never do. You’ll hear many saying this is a first! Be careful about what you say about what you’ll never do! When the Holy Spirit moves, you can find yourself doing things you didn’t think you could or would ever do! Kingdom living is all about expansion! I believe as you align yourself with what the Spirit of God is doing, you’re going to fall in line with the spirit of expansion. We need to pray like Jabez did, expand my tent pegs, Lord!
When God expands us, when he stretches us, it stretches our faith to believe for bigger things! So, watch what happens when you align yourself with God's agenda… He will begin to use you mightily in areas you didn’t even know you could be used and do things you didn't know you could do! Dream big! Get in line and see what mighty things you will do for the glory of God!
God has moved mightily in our gatherings!
